Job # 4809 – NEW – Full Time Live In 5 days / week Nanny Needed in New York City (Upper East Side)

PARENTS 1 WORK: Father works full time outside of the home.

PARENTS 2 WORK: Mother most of the time outside of the home.

LOCATION: Upper East Side, NYC

START DATE: ASAP

COMMITMENT LENGTH: Family prefers at least a 1 year commitment.

LIVE IN/OUT ACCOMODATIONS:  Live In 5 days per week. (Weekends OFF / Live Out.)

Nanny will have separate bedroom on separate floor of family, but will share bathroom with second nanny.

DAYS/HOURS: Monday – Friday 7:00am – 7:30pm / 8:00pm. (Friday’s end at 7:00pm.)

Nanny will arrive at 7:00am Monday and leave at 7:00pm Friday.

CHILDREN:

Boy: 7 years old (has a separate nanny)

Boy: 4 years old (has a separate nanny)

Girl: 2 ½ years old. (Care will solely be for this child, but nanny may need to help out from time to time when needed.)

Family has a second nanny who will care for both boys.

MUSTS:

Must be a team player – pitch in to help with boys if ever necessary. (Pick up from school on occasion when other nanny is at a class with the other child, etc.)

Prior childcare experience in NYC.

Have strong familiarity, experience and focus in child developmental stages.

Must be very organized and responsible.

Be mature, professional, and highly intuitive. 

Must be comfortable working alongside second nanny and with an involved mother.

Work well with additional staff in home and be a team player.

Always have safety as top priority.

Be an excellent communicator.

PREFERENCES

Spanish speaking is highly preferred. (Mother speaks Spanish fluently; children are close to it.)

TRAVEL: Family travels domestically and internationally. Travel will be over breaks from school (Christmas included).

Majority of travel will be during summer. (1 month is typically international). Family spends weekends in the Hamptons.

JOB REQUIREMENTS/DUTIES:

Daily care of child.

Assist with boys / whole family whenever needed.

Prepare snacks and meals for child. Clean up / wash dishes after child is finished with meals.

Bathe child daily.

Diaper changes and potty training.

Keep child’s room clean / immaculate.

Wash and iron child’s laundry routinely.

Discipline child when needed while supporting parents in their discipline approach.

Ensure child’s room is routinely kept neat and tidy.

Arrange and schedule classes, play dates, and other extracurricular activities for child.

Keep parents informed during the day per their preference (text / written at home , how often , etc.)

Be active and engage with child outside of home- go for walks, to the library, etc.

HOUSEHOLD STAFF: Family has a second nanny in home. (Nanny has been with family for 6 years now.)

Family employs two housekeepers.

GROSS SALARY/BENEFITS: $70,000 – $85,000 gross on the books. Salary will include full health coverage.

Family will offer flex pay overtime at .5 beginning at anything over 44 hours.

 

Job # 4766 – Full Time Nanny Needed in New York City (Upper East Side)

PARENTS 1 WORK: Father works full time outside of the home but will be work from home sometimes.

PARENTS 2 WORK: Mother works full time outside of the home.

LOCATION: Upper East Side, NYC

START DATE: July 3, 2017 (Flexibility to start week prior if family needs is a plus.)

COMMITMENT LENGTH: 1 year commitment.

LIVE IN/OUT ACCOMODATIONS:  Live Out

DAYS/HOURS: Monday – Friday 7:00am – 6:00pm (55 hours per week)

*Must be willing to work overtime if father is traveling and mother is working. This may include occasional overnight work or weekends which will be compensated as overtime. Will give advance notice. (May be negotiated, but family would prefer continuity whenever possible.)

CHILDREN: 1 girl (10 months old when job starts.)

MUSTS:

Prior infant/toddler care experience.

JOB REQUIREMENTS/DUTIES:

Daily care of baby.

Wash baby bottles, help prep bottles, etc.

Follow instructions from parents on solid foods for baby.

PETS: Family has 1 small dog. Daily walk and feeding the dog. The dog is a King Charles Cavalier, approximately 20 lbs, and is very friendly. Likes to take lots of naps. It would be helpful if nanny could take the dog outside to go to the bathroom 3 times per day. Dog does not need to go for long walks or to park as that is too far for him.

HOUSEHOLD STAFF: Family will have a housekeeper 1-2 times per month. Otherwise, there is no other household staff.

GROSS SALARY/BENEFITS: The nanny will be paid on the books.  Offered pre-tax gross salary is $1100 per week for 55 hours per week. Overtime over 55 hours per week will be paid at gross $22/hour for nights and weekends.

Compensation includes: PTO, metro card, holidays.

PARENTS 2 WORK: Mother is a Stay at Home Mom and will be partnering with nanny to care for all children

LOCATION: Bronxville, New York (20 minute train ride north of Manhattan)

START DATE:  May 2017 (ASAP) 

COMMITMENT LENGTH: 1 year minimum; family prefers a long-term commitment.

LIVE IN/OUT ACCOMODATIONS: Live-Out or Live In (5 days / week OR Live-In 24/7).

If Live-In, nanny will have private room and bath on separate level as the family

DAYS/HOURS: Tuesday – Friday 7:30am – 7:30pm (48 hours) OR Monday – Friday 11:00am – 8:00pm (45 hours)

CHILDREN:

child 1: 7 year old boy (Turned 7 in March. Into Baseball, sports, legos, choir, piano, tennis and golf. Attends Elementary School. In school 8:00am – 3:00pm during school year.)

child 2: 5 year old boy (Will be 6 in August; Into swimming, sports, guitar, art, biking, Spanish. Attends Nursery School. In school 8:30am – 1:15pm during school year.)

child 3: 3 year old girl (Will be 4 in November. Into ballet gymnastics, swimming, friends. Attends Nursery School. In school 8:30am – 11:15am during school year.)

child 4: 7 month old boy. (Will be 1 in September.)

Family has a Baby Nurse for 7 month old, but will be transitioning out.  

Family has a weekend nanny, but not applicable as not there during week.

Children (older 3) will be attending summer camp (approx. M-F and timeframe as school.)

MUSTS:

Be positive, playful, responsible, motivated and dependable.  

Be a genuinely kind individual who loves being a nanny.

Have a valid driver’s license. (Nanny will be required to drive children to / from school using family car.)

Have a valid passport as international travel may be involved.

Have reliable transportation to get to / from family home. (Nanny may travel by own car, train, cab, etc.)

Be confident in childcare experience and not intimidated by being outnumbered with 4 children.

Be able to swim. (Family is moving to a new home in 6 months and will have a pool.)

Have the energy and experience to care for multiple children at a time.

TRAVEL: Traveling will be required. (Domestically and internationally.)

Exact travel dates/details will be discussed with family prior to hire. Children attend public school, so traveling will align with public school year calendar. Timeframes outlined below.

Typically nanny will work longer hours during travel, with personal time allotted and additional compensation granted.

HOUSEHOLD STAFF: Family has a housekeeper that comes to the home 2-3 times / week and a cook 3-4 times / week. Both are able to help care for the children. Family also has an assistant that comes to the home once a month to help with errands, etc.

GROSS SALARY/BENEFITS:  $75,000 gross/on the books. Salary is negotiable for the right candidate.

Travel Pay will be added in addition to salary (when nanny travels) Additional perks will be made upon hire.

Job # 2309 – Full Time Live Out Nanny for 2 children in Oregon

Mother and father both work outside home but also from time to time in and out of home.

LOCATION: Oregon

START DATE: May 2017 (flexible for the right person)

COMMITMENT LENGTH: 1 year minimal commitment. Prefers at least 2-3 years commitment. Looking for someone to become part of the family.

LIVE IN/OUT ACCOMODATIONS: Live-Out

DAYS/HOURS: Guaranteed minimum 40 hours per week. Approx hours 40-55 hours per week. Some weekends will be required to stay with the children (family will give advance notice) when the parents travel out of town. Nanny will be paid additional.

A Pre-k and an elementary school child. Primary job will be caring for the pre-k child.

The job will include transportation to and from school, sports, and appointments. Half days for pre-k child so a lot of one on one time and activities.

Must have past full time childcare/nanny experience.

CPR certified and First Aid a big plus.

It is against LLD policy for sitters to use their own vehicles, and if you choose to allow a sitter to drive your vehicle, or drive any vehicle while working for you, LLD cannot be held liable for any results of your choice to do so. LLD makes no representations about its sitters driving records or claims any responsibility for the quality of the driving services performed.

Liability

You agree to hold harmless Lucky Lil’ Darlings, for any damages caused by one of its sitters working as a Domestic Provider for the Family.  The Family hereby acknowledges that LLD served only as placement agent among Domestic Provider and the Family.

You hereby agree that Lucky Lil’ Darlings is not to be held responsible for any type of property damage (to your car or a third party's car, or any other property) or bodily injury or death (to either occupants of your car or another car) resulting from one of its sitters using your vehicle. It is against LLD policy for sitters to use their own vehicles, and if you choose to allow a sitter to drive your vehicle, or drive any vehicle while working for you, LLD cannot be held liable for any results of your choice to do so. LLD makes no representations about its sitters driving records or claims any responsibility for the quality of the driving services performed.

Please also note that cancellations or rescheduling done within a 24-hour period of the start time of services are subject to the following fee: $50 fee in NY, NJ, CT & CA; and $40 fee in TX, IL, PA, GA & MA. By agreeing to this waiver you grant us permission to charge your credit card.

BY SIGNING THIS AGREEMENT, FAMILY AFFIRMATIVELY CONSENTS TO AUTOMATIC CHARGES TO THE CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD ACCOUNT PROVIDED BELOW. DURING THE TERM OF THIS AGREEMENT, THE APPLICABLE FEES AGREED TO BETWEEN THE REFERRING PARTY AND THE FAMILY WILL BE CHARGED AUTOMATICALLY TO THIS ACCOUNT. THE SERVICES PROVIDED ARE CONTINUOUS AND WILL CONTINUE UNTIL FAMILY CANCELS OR THE AGREEMENT IS OTHERWISE TERMINATED. FAMILY CAN CANCEL AT ANY TIME BY CONTACTING LLD AT [info@luckylildarlings.com or 917.608.1231]. LLD DISCLAIMS ALL LIABILITY WITH RESPECT TO ITS OBLIGATIONS UNDER THIS AGREEMENT OR OTHERWISE FOR CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, AND EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ANY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IN ANY EVENT, LLD’S LIABILITY TO FAMILY FOR ANY REASON AND UPON ANY CAUSE OF ACTION SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE NET AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID TO LLD BY FAMILY DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE DATE ON WHICH SUCH CLAIM ACCRUED. THIS LIMITATION APPLIES TO ALL CAUSES OF ACTION IN THE AGGREGATE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, BREACH OF CONTRACT, BREACH OF WARRANTY, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, MISREPRESENTATION, AND OTHER TORTS.

All users who are minors in the jurisdiction in which they reside (generally under the age of 18) must have the permission of, and be directly supervised by, their parent or guardian to use our website.
