Job # 3470 – NEW – Full Time Nanny / House Manager Needed – Flatiron District

PARENTS 1 WORK: Father works full time outside of the home.

PARENTS 2 WORK: Mother works full time outside of the home.

LOCATION: Flatiron District, NYC

COMMITMENT LENGTH: Family prefers at least a 1 year commitment.

DAYS/HOURS: Monday – Friday 7:30am – 6:30pm 

CHILDREN:

child 1: 4 year old girl. Attends day school Monday – Friday 9:00am – 12:00pm

child 2: 2 year old girl. Attends drop-off class Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:00am – 11:00am.

child 3: 4 ½ month old baby.

*Family has another nanny that will be with older children from 12:00pm – 8:00pm.

*Both nannies will share responsibilities for all children and coordinate responsibilities and duties on a daily level

MUSTS:

Must have experience with infants through school-aged children.

Have experience with multiples.

Be comfortable partnering with the family’s other nanny.

Be a good communicator with the parents and other nanny.

Be very cautious and mindful of peanut, walnut, and eggplant allergy in one children. Ensure that child is never exposed to these items.

Must be very focused on enrichment and talking to the children all of the time.

Must be very organized. (Nanny will be responsible for organizing and managing household, handling multiple kid’s schedules, keeping track of toys/household items to replace/stock/etc. while kids are in school/sleeping.

Be a multitasker. (Engage and with children during meal prep or taking care of household while being efficient and timely.)

Someone who is tech-savvy – Need to be able to communicate to parents via email.

Limit phone use around the children unless using for emergencies or contacting parents.

*Family is currently in Europe. When job starts, family will be in London.

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE NANNY:  Family is looking for a live-in nanny that is college educated, nurturing, upbeat, patient, affectionate & warm. A caregiver that has childcare experience and can help with homework as needed. A nanny that is organized, comfortable with household duties such as the kids laundry, making the beds, meal prep, cleaning up after the kids, emptying the trash, dishes, wiping off counters, occasional shopping and errands as needed. Family wants the nanny to feel part of their family and have mutual respect and flexibility. Nanny must be a native English speaker, drive (car provided), swim and be CPR Certified. You agree that the governing law for any disputes is the laws of the State of Oregon in the United States, excluding conflicts of law principles. You further agree that any disputes must be submitted to the jurisdiction of any competent court in a county Lucky Lil’ Darlings, LLC is registered in with the proper state authorities. Should any portion or provision of the Terms of Use be found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court with proper jurisdiction, then that provision is stricken from the Terms of Use and all other provisions remain valid and enforceable, and these Terms of Use remain in effect.

You hereby agree that Lucky Lil’ Darlings is not to be held responsible for any type of property damage (to your car or a third party's car, or any other property) or bodily injury or death (to either occupants of your car or another car) resulting from one of its sitters using your vehicle. It is against LLD policy for sitters to use their own vehicles, and if you choose to allow a sitter to drive your vehicle, or drive any vehicle while working for you, LLD cannot be held liable for any results of your choice to do so. LLD makes no representations about its sitters driving records or claims any responsibility for the quality of the driving services performed.

Liability

You agree to hold harmless Lucky Lil’ Darlings, for any damages caused by one of its sitters working as a Domestic Provider for the Family.  The Family hereby acknowledges that LLD served only as placement agent among Domestic Provider and the Family.

Please also note that cancellations or rescheduling done within a 24-hour period of the start time of services are subject to the following fee: $50 fee in NY, NJ, CT & CA; and $40 fee in TX, IL, PA, GA & MA. By agreeing to this waiver you grant us permission to charge your credit card.

BY SIGNING THIS AGREEMENT, FAMILY AFFIRMATIVELY CONSENTS TO AUTOMATIC CHARGES TO THE CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD ACCOUNT PROVIDED BELOW. DURING THE TERM OF THIS AGREEMENT, THE APPLICABLE FEES AGREED TO BETWEEN THE REFERRING PARTY AND THE FAMILY WILL BE CHARGED AUTOMATICALLY TO THIS ACCOUNT. THE SERVICES PROVIDED ARE CONTINUOUS AND WILL CONTINUE UNTIL FAMILY CANCELS OR THE AGREEMENT IS OTHERWISE TERMINATED. FAMILY CAN CANCEL AT ANY TIME BY CONTACTING LLD AT [info@luckylildarlings.com or 917.608.1231]. LLD DISCLAIMS ALL LIABILITY WITH RESPECT TO ITS OBLIGATIONS UNDER THIS AGREEMENT OR OTHERWISE FOR CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, AND EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ANY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IN ANY EVENT, LLD’S LIABILITY TO FAMILY FOR ANY REASON AND UPON ANY CAUSE OF ACTION SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE NET AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID TO LLD BY FAMILY DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE DATE ON WHICH SUCH CLAIM ACCRUED. THIS LIMITATION APPLIES TO ALL CAUSES OF ACTION IN THE AGGREGATE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, BREACH OF CONTRACT, BREACH OF WARRANTY, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, MISREPRESENTATION, AND OTHER TORTS.
